The restaurant in Echizen Town that I used to visit was sold out of crabs, so I had the seafood bowl at Tarumi-san for the first time. When I entered the restaurant, I was surprised at how clean it was, and when I ate the food, I was surprised twice at how delicious it was. This is subjective, but how well the rice is cooked, the amount, and the vinegared rice? I really liked the balance between the flavor and the seafood sashimi. I've had the opportunity to eat on the Echizen coast during crab season, but out of all the restaurants I've been to, the seafood bowl might be my favorite. The squid, filefish, and tuna were all different in their freshness. The store has been renovated and feels clean. I couldn't imagine it from the outside. There was also a stylish wood deck space!
