Small restaurant. Bathrooms are not in good shape. Flies. Service was not great... needed to ask for more water. No one checked on our table. Naan was good. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

We are very much into Indian Food and the food at A Taste of India Grants Pass is pretty decent in comparison to other Indian restaurants, but the place is pretty "tore back" - literally. No atmosphere what so ever. Tables were plain and well worn, seats had tears in the material and even springs poking out of them (I actually caught my pants on one as I was sitting and it ripped a hole in my pants - which our Waiter witnessed). Floors have no coverings and are worn, curtains are old and dirty, there was no music playing - literally nothing to look at while waiting for our food. We almost left, after walking in and seeing the condition of the place, but decided to stay. The food was pretty good, I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and my Wife had the Navrattan Korma (which is our standard order), along with a plain Naan. Our Waiter sat behind the cash register instead of bringing our drinks out while waiting - I got up to ask and saw him scrolling on his phone - hence the Service rating. When I go out to eat, food is only part of my experience, and this place has some work to do in those other areas. Overall, if I were to order again from here, it would be to go. BTW - While the Waiter noted that I had torn my pants on the exposed spring and even mentioned it to one of the other workers and pointed out the actual spring that caused the damage, we were not compensated in any way - not even a discount on the food.
