I went to Taste on Friday. It was recommended from an associate who is from St Louis. It’s a clean lil spot. The reason for my review is because at 5 o’clock on a Friday they were sold out of half of their menu. No lamp chops, no chicken, no oxtails. They also only had one pasta left which was the creole pasta. I decided on the pasta. At first glance the plating was subpar no parsley on top and it didn’t come with any garlic bread. The pasta was so spicy I couldn’t finish it and because of the over powering spice you really couldn’t taste the flavor. Creole pasta is more than throwing Cayenne pepper on it. I also had the watermelon lemonade which was all sugar. As someone who isn’t from St Louis trying this spot I will not be back. I’m sure they run out of food often which shows a lack of proper projecting your clientele. I won’t be back. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

I was greeted & acknowledged with eagerness! Chicken and waffle was fresh & side of breakfast potatoes were delicious! Salmon fried rice was pretty good. I’ll be sure to ask for extra onion next time. Spoke with the owner him self who was nice & expressed genuine concern. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
