The chicken gyro was so delicious that I was moved by this experience and inspired to write poetry: Such an unprepossessing beauty, Shared by me alone in the comfort of my vehicle And yet I feel mother god embrace me ensuring me life is well, “it’s worth it” she whispers to me Such a fleeting moment with euphoria I haven’t felt in days. I become animalistic in my primal sense to exploit the pleasure I feel. I dishonor and disrespect her as she begins to abscond from my grasp. So I take my time because I want this to last forever but like all wonderful things in life, it’s not meant to be reserved but be enjoyed and celebrated.
