Visiting this bar with a great view of Empire State Railway Museum will be a positive experience for guests. People may have perfectly cooked fillet steaks, beef ribs and rainbow trout at Tavern 214. Come here for tasty apple pie, ice cream and chocolate cakes if you are hungry. Clients visit this place to drink good draft beer, wine or martinis. Great coffee is worth a try here.

Worth a visit just to chat with the owners. Vivian is a wonderful host. Food is consistently excellent with imaginative mains and unique starters. Love the charcuterie board with cheese!

For my second visit at Tavern 214, I was really excited to taste again their lobster truffle mac'n'cheese, healthily balanced with grilled veggies and a couple of red wine glasses. Unfortunately for mains + desserts, it took us 2.5 hours, getting our food out of the kitchen on a slow night was painstakingly ... slow. It pretty much ruined the meal for me despite the free bread... and previous time was the same. Overall price is not cheap, so I would expect much more from this place. It is great to have this option in the area and compared to Manhattan prices, most day-trippers won't mind, however it came up short of my expectations. Ambiance: 4/5 Food options: 3.5/5 Food quality: 4/5 Price: 3.5/5
