Food was nothing special. Definitely microwaved. Souvlaki was dry and they skimp out on the sides that usually go with the dish. Waiter (probably owner) told us what to pay but didn't give us a check like all the normal restaurants do. We heard about this place from a shopkeeper where I bought a dress. It was clearly agreed upon for the him to bring tourists to this "family run" restaurant to get a free bite to eat in return. This is typical of Greeks- they recommend "family" businesses in Athens to tourists because they know that's that they want authenticity. Well honestly, that type of authenticity is extremely hard to find. The "family owned" advertising is just a gimmick manipulated by business owners to get you through the door and consume their mediocre product. Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was an example of this.
Food was okay but compared to other restaurants in Athen it IS Not Worth more than 3 Stars in my opinion. I had way better food for less money
Good salads and pleasant wine
