Te Aro is located in Brew Town, Upper Hutt. Service is good and so are the pizzas! I didn’t manage to take photos of all the pizza we ordered. I love the bitter lemon lime. The beers were not bad. Like how there is a dart corner and dining in used factories is quite a pleasant experience!

Fantastic food, specially the calamari that was to die for! Top marks for the chef who apparently used to work at the Fork & Brewer. Also top marks for the friendly and efficient service. Shona was amazing. And the bar man was great at living us lots of tasters. And do many nice Te Aro brews to select from.

Meal was good initially but ruined when the waiter forgot to put in one of our family’s meals. When rest of meals were delivered and we mentioned it was missing we were told there was lots of other orders in place before hers and we would have to wait. At least 45 minutes later with 3 contacts with waiter and supervisor we finally got missing meal. No apology - nothing. Rest of family - including 3 year old will never go back there. We were made to feel guilty for being annoyed that we had such a long wait - through no fault of ours!
