This place is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. From the guests' point of view, prices are affordable. The milk tea was good but the staff rolled her eyes at me and had a really rude tone when taking my order yesterday. All i asked was what she recommended between 2 brown sugar milk teas they offer and what the difference was and i noticed the eye roll and she became really rude when i asked that question. When i got the milk tea i said thank you and she just ignored me and walked away. This happened at around 4pm on april 8th.

T. Rex lived at the very end of the Late Cretaceous period, which was about 90 to 66 million years ago. Tea Rex, however, seems to be alive and well and thriving in Skokie judging by the fan art on the walls. I stopped back into Tea Rex after a few (not million) years and was surprised to see how bright and lively the space was, with so many different iterations of the Dino on the walls. I tried my favorite taro smoothie with boba and it was delicious as always, cool and nutty, with nicely chewy boba. The place was empty when I arrived and my order was up fast. As I left, I saw other customers entering the lot. This is probably a dino-mite spot later in the day. Am I really going to end this review with a pun? You bet Jurassican!

I'm a fan of TeaRex Bubble Tea Cafe. Their logo and their decor are both super cute, and the staff are friendly. A huge plus is that they're also opened late, too, considering they're in the burbs! Their menu offers frappes, milk teas, blended drinks, bubble teas, coffee, as well as waffles/desserts. Don't forget to check out their house specialties or seasonal beverages, too. A group of us usually come here after having dinner, and tend to get a variety of drinks. I've tried the Pineapple, the Honeydew, the Lychee, and the milk tea. I've also had their color-changing drinks that contain the butterfly pea infusion, usually mixing it with the passion fruit. Drinks can be inconsistent, as it can have way too much ice or them being too watered down, even with less ice. I think the pineapple one was the most tastiest, so I tend to just stick with that. There are a handful of chairs inside to hang out and enjoy your beverage; most seem to take their items to go. If you tag them on social media, the picture that gets the most votes from the staff will ask permission to feature your photo on their rotating digital menu - how cool is that? I love when businesses engage and form a community with their patrons! There is a small private lot to park. +pineapple tea drink +open late! +small private lot to park
