The best shrimp and grits in Baltimore. Their infused teas were gentle and healing. Chicken & Waffles were The Bomb. Sunni & Del are an amazing couple and they loved the people, both customers and staff. They were Rock Stars in the restaurant business. They were two quiet spirits who brought warmth, coziness and great vibes to that small space in Harbor East. I pray they will surface again in Baltimore. To say I will miss them is an incredible understatement. My foodie heart is shattered. I followed them from Eastern Ave. to Aliceanna, next stop, I'll be there. So, yesterday my buddy took me to Teavolve Cafe & Lounge in baltimore. He raved about the food and about it being a really NICE black owned business. I ordered the shrimp and grits they were really good. After a while we realized that our waitress had not come back to check on us (1st time). Finally she came I ordered a ginger ale and it took about 10 mins to come even after watching the waitress seat and wait on other tables without saying ANYTHING to me about my soda.
