my bf went to this place speaking no japanese and they were so helpful i dont think they did takeout but we wanted takeout as i was sick in the hotel. they cooked the entire meal for him Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tucked away in Asakusa, Tecchan is a traditional Japanese restaurant that offers a unique and unforgettable dining experience. They specialize in teppanyaki, a style of cooking where food is grilled on a hot iron plate right at your table. First you know you're in the right place when the restaurant staff doesn't speak English, they compensate by being incredibly patient and accommodating. Despite the language barrier, we were able to communicate through translation apps and ensure we had a wonderful experience. They even kindly cooked for us as we weren't familiar with the hot plate. The fresh ingredients and skillful cooking techniques made for a delicious and entertaining meal. Watching the waitress cook our food right in front of us added to the overall enjoyment.
