Temple Bar is a fantastic place to grab a drink, and it’s a spot I visit regularly. It’s almost always rather busy, but that just creates a brilliant, vibrant atmosphere which is further helped by the live music they regularly have on. I will say that the music acts are regularly the same and could do with a bit of variation, though that might just be down to the timing of my visits! I haven’t actually eaten here so I can't comment on the food myself, but the dishes I’ve seen coming out of the kitchen definitely look good. You can always count on getting a great pint, and the drinks are standard prices for the town centre. Overall, if you want a lively pub with great energy, this is definitely the place to go. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20

Very odd that this self-styled Irish Bar refused to put the All Ireland final between Mayo and Kerry on any of their screens! Apparently policy not to show Gaelic Games - motor racing on instead and who ever wants to watch that!! Went to the City Arms instead where staff were more than happy to switch screens so we could watch Mayo lift the curse. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Thanks for taking the time to share this, Taz. We're really sorry to hear the All Ireland final wasn't on for you. We've passed your feedback on to management to look at how we handle big GAA fixtures going forward. If you'd like to discuss further, drop us an email at bookings@breakingbrands.co.uk

Sorry we didn't win you over this time. We'd say the Wednesday live session and a proper pint of Guinness are worth another look if you're ever passing 6 High Street again.
