They 1st get you for $10 to valet park. Street parking is limited. I have a $12 Ginger drink with no alcohol. Worst thing I ever thought I put in my mouth as far as liquid goes. I got guacamole and chips. To remind you, chips and salsa are not free at this Mexican restaurant.. I think it was close to $15 for a tablespoon of guacamole and some chips. Chicken tostada salad with $20 and had almost nothing in it. It was about 50% full. 40% of that was lettuce. Next step I order the Diablo sushi. I think that one was about 25 or $30. I couldn't even see or taste the spicy tuna that they said was in it. I don't think I'll ever go back there again. I came to have a birthday lunch with friends who drove very far and are not from Downey. Our server charged us for extra lunch entrees that did not belong to us. There was a lot of frustration and co fusion with our bill that we needed to ask for the manager.. Jose. He was the most unprofessional person ever !!! instead of being apologetic about the situation and providing "Good Customer Service," He said, " Whatever," to us and left !!!!! The most rudest and unprofessional so-called manager ever!!!! There's many more restaurants that would appreciate our money and hospitality. Never coming here !!! Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Parking: Parking in this neighborhood is horrible. I had my car towed from where I parked across the street at a store. Tempo Cantina charges for parking which I believe shouldn’t be, most especially for customers patronising and spending money already.
