I loved the chazuke with my tempura. The different salts really made the tempura stand out, and I loved the shrimp. It’s really tiny in there though so I struggled a tiny bit. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

A surprise breakfast stop (who ever thought of tempura for breakfast). A very small shop, can only sit six at the counter. You order from a small tablet against the wall, upper right hand corner will swap language. Hand the chef you order and have a seat. His English is better than my Japanese and he was very accommodating to my girls food allergies (nuts and soy). The tempura was lightly battered and shrimp were plump and juicy. A must off the beaten track for a nice snack. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Breakfast

Had the Ichiban-Dashi broth set at Tencha and it was absolutely scrumptious! The tempura was perfectly crisp, light, and flavourful, and the broth added such a comforting, umami-rich depth when poured over the rice. I loved how they provided different flavored salts and toppings—it made the whole experience fun and customizable. The staff were warm and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. A must-visit in Tokyo if you love quality tempura with a unique twist!
