One of the best tempura places we tried. They have a lot of variety on the menu, and we ended up trying a few different sets: * Tempura Set Meal * Irodori Tendon * Seafood Kakiage & Yabu Soba Everything was really good, the tempura was crispy and light, and the sauce matched perfectly. The portions were also decent for the price, so it felt very worth it. The staff were friendly as well, which made the experience even better. Definitely a place we’d come back to again. Part of the Tendon Tenya chain, this one is Asakusa is pretty convenient : in area flooded by Izakaya and various "Wagyu" for tourists restaurants, it’s refreshing to find a Japanese cuisine restaurant not targeting tourists. The menu is available in English, you can order with a tablet, the food is delicious and served quite fast and is quite cheap compared to the alternatives in the area. The staff was energetic : welcoming customers arriving, thanking leaving ones, handling taking out orders all that with a smile. The restaurant is quite spacious and can accommodate big tables (assuming there is still space remaining). Overall very nice experience with delicious food and amazing staff. Recommended if you in the area and never tried Tendon or just tired of the alternatives nearby. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
