Clients reserve a table for tasty meals here and enjoy the sights of Kodo-in. At this place you can taste the Japanese cuisine. That's a nice idea to order tasty japanese ramen, broth and chashu.

This is a local hidden gem. As a tourist who hates seeing other tourists at restaurants - you won’t see that here. The staff was very accommodating to speak the best English to help us. One of the best bowls of ramen I’ve ever had. Full local experience - sit down, eat, leave feeling amazing. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This small ramen shop, Tenko, is beautifully tucked away behind a wooden façade, but behind it lies a true treasure of ramen. Normally, you can state your ramen preference through the intercom, and they invite you in once a seat is available. Since I don’t speak Japanese, I entered early by mistake, but the incredibly friendly staff came outside with me to explain the menu in detail, including all the extras. I decided to go with their bestseller and ordered double egg and four slices of meat. I was greeted with a hot towel and a cold glass of iced water, making me feel instantly at home. I got to watch the ramen master at work as he prepared my soup right in front of me. The ramen itself was fantastic—so simple yet so good. Every slurp was satisfying, with the meat being tender and the egg cooked perfectly. As I neared the end of my bowl, the staff noticed and brought me a towel from the freezer, perfect for wiping away sweat and cooling down after the delicious hot soup. Overall, it was an amazing experience. I would love to come back again. Thank you for a great meal—I left full and with a smile on my face! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
