We ended up trying El Tequileno as a result of a wrong turn. Our good luck! The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The service could not have been better. If we lived closer, we'd be regulars.

My experience at tequilas in Lakewood has always been exceptional. The food is consistently excellent. The wait staff is dedicated and hard working. This is my favorite restaurant for authentic Mexican food. I drive from Golden once a week to this great place because of the staff. Marylou is my favorite waitress. She is so good that we ask to be seated in her section. We have never been disappointed. The food quality and the presentation make this a 5 star mexican restaurant.
