First time to this delightful restaurant and it certainly won’t be the last. Where do l start.from first entering Terrace Grill were greeted warmly by a lovely man who took us to our table,the feeling was of being in someone’s home, and he looked after us very well. Lovely cocktails which did not skimp on the alcohol at all and sourdough bread with balsamic oil and butter was a great way to start. Now for the ‘Piece de Resistance’..the paella, wow, yum, delicious, scrumptious you get the drift!! So so good lots of fresh seafood, delicious flavours and we clean the pan completely. So full that l couldn’t have the Baileys Crème Brûlée and that’s saying something as l love my desserts but believe me l will have it next time for sure. The lovely young girl that brought our food was so friendly and the very talented Chef came to our table to inquire how we enjoyed our meal, such a lovely touch. Been her twice recently, last week and a few months back. Staff are great, atmosphere is lovely & really intimate, and the food has been delicious both times. Veal 'Oscar' like dish, the kingfish special and a crab dish were all just heavenly. Something up with these ratings...they're all 1 or 5 star. The WORST seafood platter EVER. Tasteless and past use by date. Balmain bugs so watery I spat it out, Lobster Mornay had No lobster flavour. Prawns and oysters below average. Chat with Chef unsatisfactory, he insisted everything was fresh when it must have been soaking in iced water for days. The waiting staff were wonderful but we cannot recommend the overpriced unappetizing well below par seafood. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$200+ Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2
