EXCEPTIONAL coffee spot. Some of the best coffee I’ve had after several weeks exploring specialty coffee around France. And definitely the best service. The woman running the shop was so kind and friendly that our plan to take away became a sit in experience where we tried most of their coffee preparations. The affogato takes the win on a hot summer day. The Colombia beans they had on espresso were fantastic and paired beautifully with the incredible authentic vanilla bean ice cream they offer (it’s from an award winning place in Rennes). Their cappuccino and cold brew were both great as well. The ibrik (Turkish coffee) preparation deserves special mention because they are global champions in making it and you can taste it. I’ve never tried such a smooth and non-bitter Turkish coffee. The place itself was spotless and very comfortable to sit in and enjoy your drink from. I appreciated that their menu was very clear on prices, how many espresso shots their drinks had, and the price of extras like decaf or oat milk. They also have a shop section with many interesting beans to choose from (beans have ratings on the package and are 80+). You can get helpful suggestions if you’re struggling to choose. They offer every bean in an espresso or filter roast, which I’ve never seen (usually a particular bean is only roasted for a specific preparation). So overall this is quite a special spot for coffee lovers. Don’t miss it! It was our favorite find in Rennes. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
