I arrived 10 minutes before my husband as I wanted to be seated and order our drinks and appetizers before he arrived. We were on a time crunch and seeing a performance at the State Theatre. I was asked to move to the carpet for seating. The hostess then seated the group behind me and asked if my husband was on his way. I said yes and I wanted to be seated to order our food and drinks. She refused saying they would not seat me unless he arrived. I have been a proponent of Texas roadhouse for over 20 years. Their refusal to seat a customer because her husband is not there is not any different than me asking to be seated at a table for 1. Their explanation was that it would impact the servers source of income if i took a table for longer than necessary. I will no longer be visiting this establishment. The food was good but the rest left a lot to be desired. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Our server, Jesselle, was very attentive and refilled our drinks whenever they were low. She also offered to bring us more bread. She visited the table frequently but not too often and was very friendly. We enjoyed talking with her and she did not make us feel rushed. She was polite and attended to our needs and seemed like she enjoyed her job and got along with coworkers and guests well. Overall, the family friendly environment and positivity of the staff was refreshing, as it demonstrated teamwork and comradery towards creating a legendary experience for all guests.
