We recently dined at Texas de Brazil and overall, it was still a very good experience that I would gladly recommend to family and friends. The food quality and the service of most of the staff were excellent, and the atmosphere was enjoyable and welcoming. The meats were flavorful and well-seasoned, although a few cuts were unfortunately overcooked during our visit. The salad bar was still good, but we noticed that some of our previous favorites, like the shrimp and the smoked salmon, were no longer available, which was a bit disappointing. One area that needs improvement is the service for the shrimp station, as it took quite a long time for the server to attend to guests. In addition, the comfort room already looks old and would definitely benefit from renovation and better maintenance. Despite these minor concerns, we still enjoyed our dining experience. The restaurant continues to offer a great variety of food and a pleasant atmosphere, which is why we would still highly recommend this place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. To start with, the price was extremely overpriced at 270 SAR per person, supposedly for a wide variety of meats and grilled items. However, we were only served around three types of beef, one shrimp dish, and one chicken item. What made the experience even worse was the waiter constantly trying to mislead us by serving the same cut of meat repeatedly under different names, as if we wouldn’t notice. In reality, they all tasted and looked almost identical. As for the quality of the meat, it was terrible. None of it resembled Angus beef as advertised. Every cut was chewy, tough, dry, and difficult to eat. Honestly, some of the worst meat I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The chicken wrapped in bacon was also inedible because of the excessive amount of salt. The bacon tasted like pure salt and completely ruined the dish. Regarding the service and staff, almost every request had to be repeated multiple times before anyone responded. The employees appeared unprofessional, dragging themselves around the restaurant with loud shoe noises and showing very poor service standards overall. The staff clearly need proper hospitality and restaurant service training. What shocked me the most was when a staff member asked for my opinion about the experience. I honestly explained the issues, and instead of apologizing, he asked me why the meat was chewy and dry — as if I should be the one explaining the restaurant’s problems to him. Even the side dishes and desserts were disappointing, with only two options available and both below average. Overall, this was a terrible experience and definitely not one I would ever repeat.
