My wife and I were looking for a halal restaurant for lunch before our flight back to Kuala Lumpur. After a bit of searching on Google for halal restaurants near a train station, we came across Tha Pra Kitchen and decided to give it a try. Getting there was very easy. The restaurant is about a 5-minute walk from MRT Bang Phai Station. On the way, we passed a hotel, and the restaurant is located right next to it. I suspect both businesses may share the same owner, although I am not entirely sure. The restaurant itself was clean, comfortable and well maintained. I also noticed that it was labelled as a Tripadvisor Choice establishment, which gave us additional confidence before ordering. For lunch, we ordered the signature Northern Thai chicken curry noodles, tamarind sour soup, stir-fried kale and rice with fish. Honestly, every dish we ordered turned out to be a good choice. For Malaysians, the signature Northern Thai chicken curry noodles may remind you a little of Nyonya laksa, although the flavour profile is quite different. The tamarind sour soup, on the other hand, felt somewhat similar to asam rebus back home. Both dishes suited my taste perfectly and ended up being my favourites of the meal. The portions were generous, the food arrived quickly, and the staff were friendly throughout our visit. Prices were also very reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of food served. Overall, we left very satisfied. Good food, affordable prices, friendly service and a convenient location near the MRT made this a great final meal before heading back to Malaysia. This place is GOATED! Maybe one of the best halal food around, if not the best! Price are extremely cheap! or reasonable i must say. Cafe is fantastic, clean, and comfy Highly recommended 5. Easily my favourite place now in bangkok. Can use Malaysian QR and also very nearby to MRT Station Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
