Ignore other places, discover the Thai menu at this restaurant. Come to Thai Hutt for a break and degust perfectly cooked chicken curry, prawns and pad thai. This place is good for people who have dinner in a hurry as they can order dishes as a takeout. Most reviewers suppose that the staff is gracious at this place. Every time I have been to THAI HUTT BANKSTOWN I get every container only half filled. When I’m paying $20 per dish I expect the containers to be full. The containers are on the bench for customers to see and implies that’s the size of the servings but they are actually pretty stingy as they’re only half full for maximum dollars spent. I have raised this twice with the same lady at the front desk but her lame excuse is ‘that’s our serving size’ and is not prepared to do anything about it. She does not care, saying ‘we’ve been in business for 17 years’ blah blah blah. I will be looking for another Thai restaurant as it’s too expensive at THAI HUTT BANKSTOWN for what you get and the food is average. Also we waited more than 20 mins and the restaurant was empty.
