I wanted to like Thai Princess, mostly because it doesn't come with the drama and crowds like nearby Pai or Khao San Road. When we were there, there was a couple tables enjoying their meal and we were able to get a table by the window. After ordering, our waiter returned to us and informed us that they had run out of noodles for the Pat See Ew. It was a disappointment, mostly because that was the dish we were specifically out to eat. There was the substitution for another noodle dish. Also, a little annoyed that rice had to be ordered extra with dishes that wasn't a noodle dish. Are we suppose to eat the curries by itself? The food itself was okay but lacking the thai flavors that are usually so complex and interesting. I would come again if I wanted a quiet Thai meal away from the crowds, but will ask if they the Pat See Ew is available before sitting down.

I used to like their Pat See Ew all the time but their noodle became saggy and mushy for the last couple times. It seem it was boiled too long or noodle was sit for over hours. I like your food so please do it right.

We went there on a friday night & it wasnt busy so our group of 7 got seated right away. Within 30mins the place was full. Appetizer were so-so and are quite small for the price. I had the Panang Curry with chicken and a side of coconut rice...it was delicious.. only complaint was none of the dishes included rice and had to be ordered as extra charge, otherwise it was great food, friendly service, & clean.
