Rather than that's love I would call it that's a scam. On holiday in Siena for a birthday, I decided to order the cake here because from the reviews it seemed like the best choice. I call five days in advance explaining that I want a simple pistachio cheesecake, for three people and with a writing that I can personalize. I ask to have a freshly made cheesecake rather than one of the already prepared ones that they keep on display. The girl tells me that on that type of cake they usually put chopped pistachios around the edges and a few chocolate flowers but I have no preferences in this regard and I leave carte blanche, as long as it is decorated and nice to look at. I was given a cheesecake that was maybe three days old, that tasted only of cream and ice, with a non-existent chocolate biscuit base that fell apart even just by looking at it, covered on the surface by a layer of green stuff so hard that it candles broke while trying to insert them... but above all with a handwritten writing made by a primary school child with chocolate, perhaps? Whatever it was, it tasted bitter and was inedible. I call the store again, they make me talk to three different people but no one seems to know anything and the next day it turns out that the girl who had taken my order had left a post-it saying that I only wanted a pistachio cheesecake. It's a shame that I spent 10 minutes on the phone with her and I was clear. I replied to them that my money, 30 EURO (on the phone the girl had assured me that for a small cake I would have spent less than 25 but whatever) was good money and that I didn't expect to have it back but that I deserved a discount or a coupon but they didn't give a damn and, even, to my "I'll give you a negative review" they replied "free to do as you want". Nice scammers, congratulations. Perhaps the only positive thing was the owner who delivered it to me in person where we were staying but in hindsight he might as well not have delivered it to me.
