Visited on 21st April approx midday. The two chaps behind the bar were polite enough, although one wasn’t sure about some basic menu questions. My 2 year old child had an incident wetting himself, meaning the floor needed to be mopped / wiped. While I took him to the toilets, my heavily pregnant wife informed a staff member of this. Said staff member (young blonde female wearing grey trousers) simply handed her a napkin , as opposed to offering to help wipe up. I found this rather disappointing and mentioned it to the manager on duty (Latino male) , he was respectful, yet I don’t feel he fully grasped the lack of professionalism from his staff member, offering nothing to remedy the situation, other than that he would pass my feedback on to the team member. Had the matter mentioned been handled better by both team members I would be more likely to return. I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Excellent Saturday morning brunch. Much needed after a long morning walk in nearby Ashridge Estate. The Akeman totally delivered. Fantastic. First time but will definitely go back.
