Wow! They got everything correct with this restaurant! Great food, prices, atmosphere, location, building, staff and service, good sized portions, great selection! Really impressed and happy we went! 10/10 experience! Have been here twice now and the food is some of the best in west Auckland!!!. Can’t say what my favourite meal is from here because everything I’ve tried is just so so good! Beautiful space, lovely staff and great coffee! Highly recommend this cafe. Had an amazing brunch yesterday at The Alderman and couldn’t be more impressed. The service was exceptional from start to finish. We were greeted immediately, seated promptly, and served with a smile. It didn’t take long for the food to arrive. Our table came with serious appetites and we left fully satisfied! We had ordered quite the spread: -Eggs Benedict with crispy hash and bacon, plus a side of creamy mushrooms; -Brisket Beef Sausage Muffin with a side of crispy hash and creamy mushrooms; -Sirloin Steak with creamy peppercorn sauce on sourdough and fries; -Slow-cooked lamb shoulder on grilled flatbread etc; -Fries and aioli. Every single dish was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. We sat outside as the weather was fine and really enjoyed the relaxed ambience. You can tell this is a well-run cafe and clearly popular for a reason. Highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back!
