The staff is pleasant that's what makes this bar so nice. Fine service is something that guests highlight in their comments. The Alley got negative comments because of the bad atmosphere. But google users are quite generous with this place: it was granted 4.1 stars.

To Jay Daniels, I’m grateful you took the time to leave a review despite your poor understanding of how you should treat your bartenders, it gives me the opportunity to put you. The bartender Sam was not only being very patient with your remarks, but dealt with them in a way that was professional by walking away to detach herself from the situation. If you had been making the same comments to me that you felt inclined to leave for her, I guarantee you would have been met with the same service. Lilly (who tolerated you)
