It's a takeaway. No dine in. Food is great. Staff are fantastic. No complaints. Always busy. Best to order in advance. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5

Don't be an "Amber Gambler!" Had a couple of below average takeaways from here previously and thought we'd give them the benefit of the doubt and try to support local business. Unfortunately, our literally last meal we will buy from Amber was exceptionally bad..... And to add insult to injury, we had to wait 2 and half hours for it to be ready. In summary, food was bland, pale and tasteless, "chicken balls" were coated in thick raw batter and the "sweet and sour sauce" was literally sugar water with lemon juice. Only saved from a one star review as the chips and curry sauce were okay, most of the rest of it went in the bin - never again! Maybe I've been spoiled by visiting Mr Wong's in Sydney but I think I know the difference between a good Chinese restaurant and a very poor Chinese takeaway.... If you enjoy bland, tasteless "stodgy white food" you won't be disappointed! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

we love the amber chinese takeaway food always hot and theres more then enough staff are brilliant and so friendly we wont go anywhere else
