Chapel of our Lady on the Bridge can be on your route by default, the guests' piece of advice is to come to this bar. Delicious beer is what can make you return to The Angel. The convenient location of this place makes it easy to reach by any transport. The nice staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Fine service is something that people highlight in their reviews. Prices at this spot deserve attention as they're reasonable. The atmosphere is enjoyable, as clients find it. Based on the visitors' feedback on Google, this bar deserved 4.2.

Once upon a time a favourite of mine, now a very infrequent customer, instead i go next door to The County. Upon entering the Angel you've a good chance of being greeted by the foul smelling drains, the bar prices are now extortionate, it's pretty dead even Friday/Saturday night but can be busy.. ish afternoons with sport on the TVs especially racing. It's basically gone down, down, downhill year on year for the last half a dozen years and has lost favour with a lot of it's regulars. I still call in for the occasional drink but it's definitely lost it's mojo along with the option of "buy two, get one free" When going to all the other pubs which are ALL significantly cheaper and tbh have a lot more to offer their customers.
