I was given the menu, which was absolutely boring. I was frustrated at the fact that the menu had not much of a range of options and that it was so boring. I could literally go to the local fish and chip shop and get a better menu with more tasteful options! You’d think with the name “The Atlantic” you’d have every option there is in the sea, but there honestly isn’t! Secondly, the main meals just come as a small portion of fish. There is no dressing, no flavour and just plain fish! I was told that I also had to pay to get sides added to my meal which should normally come with a main meal. For example, they charge $15 for some asparagus. Why should I pay for asparagus when most restaurants add asparagus to their main fish meals!! I honestly was sooo frustrated with the choices on the menu and as expected it came tasteless. Besides the menu not being appealing, the food also looked not appealing hence me not wasting space in my camera roll for it. Honestly, who is the head chef as the food and menu needs to be reviewed. I don’t understand who would approve it and price it as expensive fine dining. It’s a waste of your money! If I spent what I spent at the Atlantic anywhere else I would have been able to order so much, but instead all I got was a 1/3 of a grilled fish portion on my plate with no flavour.
The service was also not the best, I barely understood what the waitress was saying and then we constantly kept having different waiters/waitresses throughout the night. They also weren’t helpful when I was deciding through the menu, as I asked for their recommendations but they couldn’t really assist.
The starters was also disgusting! We had the Wagu starter and it was basically like I ate a jar of salt!
Honestly, I will never come back here again and I will be telling everyone to never come here also! ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY! This restaurant should not be priced as it is and should not be in Crown. Don’t know how it’s is still running.
Absolutely disappointing!
