Not only should Glenwood South be visited, but also The Avenue Raleigh. The warm atmosphere of this bar makes visitors feel relaxed and have a good time. Many guests note that the staff is knowledgeable at The Avenue Raleigh. Terrific service is something clients like here. You may be impressed with reasonable prices at this place. But google users haven't given this spot a high rating.

I was really looking forward to visiting, but unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. When I arrived with my service dog, I was told I could not come in. I’m not sure this establishment is well-versed in ADA regulations, as service animals are legally protected and must be permitted in places of public accommodation. I hope management takes the time to educate their staff on the law so other guests don’t have a similar experience. Service: 1

I was extremely disappointed with my experience here tonight. Your business advertises itself online as dog- friendly, so it was confusing and frustrating to be told that dogs were not permitted after 9:00 PM- especially while there was another dog on roaming the facility off leash at the same time. The way the situation was handled by staff and security was particularly upsetting. We were treated dismissively, even when we attempted to remain outside the fenced area to celebrate with friends attending a veterinary graduation party. We also explained that our dog was a service animal, yet our concerns were still disregarded. Additionally, we repeatedly requested to speak with the owner, but each time we were told he was “too busy” to speak with us. Overall, the experience left us feeling unwelcomed and unfairly treated, and at times it felt as though we were being racially profiled. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I do not intend to return and would not feel comfortable recommending this establishment to others. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I didn’t enter the establishment. I was walking on the sidewalk passing by when a college aged kid threw a lit cigarette butt through the hedges that hit my leg. I wasn’t burnt but felt very disrespected that someone could have such little regard for the public. Do a better job of enforcing drunk kids from potentially ruining your business.
