Recommended ......................... Chicken rolls - 8/10 - 2026 - dine in There was a good amount of chicken. One portion comes with three rolls, each cut in half. Average ......................... Chicken biriyani - 6/10 - 2026 - dine-in It had a tangy flavour and was the item I would recommend most. The portion size was generous, and the pineapple pieces were fresh. The chicken was well cooked, and the addition of a few cashew nuts enhanced the flavour. Not recommended ............................. Vegetable broth - 4/10 - 2026 - dine in .... We visited on a weekday, so it was not very crowded. I particularly liked the interior, which had a colonial vibe. The service was excellent. I would have appreciated a wash basin outside the washroom for those who eat with their hands, as I do. There is no service charges included. That was a great thing. Many people coming here writing review to the main Nippon Hotel instead. That could be the reason you have lesser amount of reviews here. We went to the Bamboo Room for the lunch buffet and it was a good overall experience. We particularly enjoyed the excellent chicken and fish dishes. The dining room offered a very pleasant atmosphere with just the right amount of air-conditioning and soft, mellow music, which really enhanced the meal. We also want to commend your staff. The two young stewards provided good service, and the gentleman at reception was very helpful with his excellent English. It's always a pleasure to encounter such attentive service. Suggestions for Enhancement: We noticed a few areas where small adjustments could further elevate the dining experience: * The array of chutneys, sambols, and salads was quite extensive; perhaps a clearer arrangement (away from the salads) or labeling could help guests navigate these delicious options more easily. * The lentil soup had an interesting, flaky consistency that was a bit unexpected. A smoother texture might be more universally appealing. * The bread rolls accompanying the soup would be even better if kept covered to maintain their softness. We appreciate the availability of filtered water to minimize single use plastics and the accurate billing. These small improvements would undoubtedly make an already good experience even better.
