The last time we came was July 2023, I think it was a fairly new establishment then. The visit this time around just as last time the new bar tender and waitress were very nice, accommodating and attentive. Both I feel took pride in their work and I am most appreciative to both of the young ladies. That being said, the next part of my review has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the service, or bar tender or waitress. They were great. I made a reservation for 6pm when we got there the doors were locked, the restaurant upstairs Apt4b informed us that The Bassment doesn’t open until 7pm I made a reservation for 6pm and on Google it states they open at 6pm. Perplexing.. Thankfully Apt4b allowed use to swap our reservation time for dinner from 7pm to 6pm allowing us to eat first and then go to The Bassment afterwards. I personally liked the vibe of The Bassment when they didn’t have televisions on the wall, and had a whole flower in the drink instead of twigs. I will be okay if I never go to The Bassment again, which makes me sad because I LOVED it in July 2023. It’s still an OK vibe, it’s just not A WHOLE vibe, IMO.
