Starters delicious, and plenty of choice. Mains I found a bit limited. Lots of stodgy food, pies, burgers rag pudding fish and chips, etc. Would have liked to see maybe sea bass, roast chicken, maybe a curry or a chilli. Hot roast beef sandwich tasted ok, but gravy a bit salty, but the beef looked like it was packet sliced beef, but could just have been very thinly sliced. The starter; meatballs definitely tasted home made and were delicious. Service was excellent and extremely friendly. I will definitely eat here again. Lots of people in that appeared to have come straight from work, and on a Friday tea time a bit of a man's boozer. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: £30–40

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to review us! We are pleased that we have made your experience with us enjoyable and we will look into the comments regarding the food! Always grateful for feedback so we can improve. The beef is actually from a joint which is slow roasted. Not sure how they get it so thin mind! Very talented fellas up there in the kitchen!I’d love to recommend the Goats Cheese and Walnut Salad on your next visit, if you are looking for something a little less stodgy! It’s a firm favourite of mine and I’m certain it will tickle the tastebuds!! Look forward to seeing you again soon!
