Great Vibe ! It actually feels like I am on the beach ️ The staff is super helpful and very friendly. The parking is safe. 100% would recommend Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot

We booked The Beach Rivonia for a 30th birthday party on Saturday, with around 20 people attending. To ensure we could fully enjoy the night, we even secured an Airbnb close to the bar. The venue opened at 16:00, and we arrived shortly after. Despite the place being nearly empty, with only a handful of tables occupied across the five advertised bars, the service was shockingly slow—drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive, and the delays only grew worse as the evening progressed. When we asked for a menu, both the waiter and manager informed us that ‘the menu has changed, we only have some of the things available, and please note the prices have also gone up so don't get a fright.’ This was highly problematic. The original menu was already limited, and the fact that they couldn’t confirm the pricing meant we had to blindly order and only discover the costs when we received the bill. The cocktails, while decent, were marred by the excessively long wait times. The food, however, was outright disappointing—the pizzas looked and tasted as if they had been microwaved, lacking any semblance of quality. Despite our efforts to salvage the evening, after three frustrating hours, we decided to move to another venue. When we asked for the bill, we faced yet another delay. To make matters worse, upon reviewing the bill, we discovered a charge for a bottle of Amarula priced at R900—something no one in our group had ordered or consumed. After a heated argument with management, they finally agreed to remove the erroneous charge. It’s clear that something has gone terribly wrong at The Beach Rivonia. Whether it's due to recent management changes or something else, this is not the venue it once was. I strongly advise staying away from this place.
