Didn’t drink coffee so can’t comment but went to buy coffee beans. They only have two types, medium and medium dark roast which is disappointing, I was expecting to see different varieties. I was charged 3000rupees for each packet. It’s not priced or labelled and not sure if price was made up on the spot but feels a bit expensive. Will have to see if the beans are worth the trip to go to the store and the amount spent on them!

It is not a cafe, it is indeed a factory, but they still have I table and 4 chairs for visitors so they can enjoy their premium self roasted coffee. The taste was really incredible. It’s a must visit place in Colombo for a good coffee. They do not provide with any cookies, but give a plate with ginger juggery, which fits perfect to a black coffee.

This was my first purchase from this roaster, and I was very impressed with the quality. I bought 2 kg in total, and the beans were extremely clean with very few broken or defective beans. Although it is a medium-dark roast, the cup is very clean and consistent. I brewed it as espresso, pour-over, and French press, and it performed well across all methods. In espresso especially, it delivers a clear chocolate-like body and sweetness without harsh bitterness. The beans also hold up very well in freezer storage, which shows careful selection and roasting. Rather than aiming for flashy flavors, this roaster clearly focuses on everyday drinkability and reliability. I would definitely buy from this roaster again.
