We ordered through UberEats and was hoping that it would be good.  With a name like The Beet, you'd think they'd be fairly healthy, right?  WRONG!  We ordered heuveros rancheros (which comes with a salad) and the brunch plate (just for the waffles!!  Yum!) as well as sweet potato wedges and intended to share.  Close to it arriving, I get a message that some items weren't available, but it didn't say what.  I assumed they'd call me but never heard from them.  I then assumed it was a mistake.  When the items arrived, I found that the waffles were subbed with a toasted bun and the salad with fries. Why would someone do that without asking first?  People don't expect restaurants to sub salad with fries.  People who want salad want salad.  It's healthier (without dressing, anyway).  And the fries were soggy.  If I wanted something like that, I would have ordered from a diner.  Please call the customer if something is unavailable.

This is the best brunch spot for vegan and nonn vegans! The kale Caesar with  tofu is amazing, I love the vegan gluten free Mac and cheese, and the banana chocolate smoothie is amazing.
