Visited the Bell frequently when we were on holiday in early April. Lovely pub, friendly welcoming locals, great staff & a tidy though small "beer garden" at rear, with a covered area for those of us with that dreadful smoking habit. Good, well kept real ales. I only gave a 3* for food as we didn't manage to eat here (always full for food when we visited) the food we saw being served looked delicious though, but we did buy a takeaway pizza which sadly didn't meet our expectations, short on toppings & somewhat overcooked + expensive for what it was. Overall, we'd be very happy to visit again (if we're allowed to after what I said about the pizza) when back in the area. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Many thanks for your review. So pleased your enjoyed your visit in April and of course you would be welcomed back, everyone is entitled to have their opinion on what they feel about something. I am sorry you did not enjoy the pizza as they are normally very well received, but hope that would not put you off trying the rest of our menu if you come again.

Fantastic! Catered for severe allergies, staff lovely, food fresh and tasty. Highly recommend this place. If you want to feel safe and secure with a full belly, visit the Bell Inn.
