We had a wonderful dinner here last year. Portion sizes were perfect. Staff was very professional. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought out a special dessert for birthday guy. Sat on the deck and it was a lovely evening.We are sad to see it was closed this year.

SIMPLY PUT, The Blue Rose Inn and Restaurant rolled out one of the most significant dining experiences that we have ever had. From atmosphere to staff to presentation and taste, this has to be rated a gem not just in Cape May but in the entire region. So what did we have..... My wife selected the Garden Menu which was a 5 course meal of vegetarian delights while I selected the Chefs tasting menu, also 5 courses. Just when I thought the experience had reached a dramatic crescendo with the Piedmontese Teres Major, out came the desert course of Lemon Ricotta Donuts. WOW. We paired both meals with a fantastic dry white wine and sparkling water to clear our pallets between courses.There is a SURPRISE that they bring to your table while you wait for the courses to begin. They don't call it that, I do. MAKE A RESERVATION TODAY. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. I PROMISE.
