It was my first time visit and unfortunately it was hot even in the enclosed dinner area. Didn't care for the water cooler for my water and wasn't keen on the one can of coke. Food was ok but not sure for a second visit. The music playing if my kids had been around I would've left immediately. Again jury is still out for a second visit. The Boot — 20th Street, Houston This place used to be a go-to for me. Not anymore — I’m done with it for good. I ordered 5 lbs of crawfish and a pound of shrimp with potatoes. When I got the order, it clearly wasn’t 5 pounds, and the crawfish weren’t fresh — they admitted it was from the day before, just re-dipped in hot water and passed off as made that morning. The potatoes were old too, and I was told that’s all they had. On top of that, the shrimp was undercooked, and all they’d say was that they’d “tell the cook.”. Nothing was replaced or refunded, as the signs out front clearly said’s. Zero accountability, zero concern. Don’t waste your money here. They get an “F”.
