Love this venue. It is conveniently located just a short walk from Leeds railway station, on the main route towards the Trinity Leeds shopping centre. It sits in the popular Greek Street area of Leeds, which is packed with excellent bars and restaurants. The venue itself has a lovely old-fashioned feel, with dark, cosy décor that creates a really relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. As you walk in, there is a bar area with high tables to the left, leading through to additional seating with booths and cubicles. Right at the back is a quieter, more private area with extra booths that would be perfect for a private function or small gathering. The drinks are excellent, the staff are attentive and friendly, and I particularly like that table service is available if you want it. I have visited around six times now, with my wife, with colleagues from work, and with groups of friends, and every visit has been thoroughly enjoyable. What really stands out for me is how carefully they manage the music. It perfectly matches the décor and overall vibe of the venue, creating a great atmosphere without being overpowering. So many places in Leeds seem to forget that when people go out with friends, they actually want to be able to hold a conversation. Here, the volume is just right. Would highly recommend visiting. Had a great night at the Bootlegger Leeds!:) The speakeasy, ambient atmosphere of the bar, accompanied by delicious, good quality cocktails was a great mix! We were grateful to experience one of their many live jazz bands which fit in perfectly to the prohibition theme! All staff were friendly and easy to talk to! Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun night out and yummy drinks! :) Price per person: £10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
