Come to this restaurant for a break and order good double cheeseburgers, steak sandwiches and hamburgers. It's time to try tasty ice cream and good flija. Delicious wine is worth a try here. You will hardly forget great lemonade, milkshakes or coffee that you can drink.

This restaurant is located in downtown wake Forest, just be aware of that because parking SUCKS. However that is not at all the restaurants fault, so that ain't included in my review When you walk in this place just has an old timey burger place feel to it, which is awesome. Wakes to the back and ordered a double cheeseburger w/bacon and a large fry. The burger was FANTASTIC it was seasoned well and you could really taste the beef because there was plenty of it! This was probably my favorite local place I've found for a Burger. My only issue was the bun. This would have easily been above a 9 with a better bun. The fries were seasoned really well and crispy as fries should be, but they were shoestring fries which are not my favorite. So I would get fries again, but they were still good. I'll definitely be going back! We eat here about once a week since moving to WF this past year. Service is great and always cheery, food is good (almost too many fries!) and the orangeade is probably the best thing I've ever had. This is how burgers used to (and should still) be made. If you're in the area I can't recommend it enough. Buy some to go and walk down to the brewery down the road! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

For all of you wasting money on fast food burgers or even most of the high end burgers sold in the Raleigh area, you are missing out on a GEM of a restaurant if you aren’t eating at The Burger Shop in downtown Wake Forest. The burgers and fries are amazing. This is the ONLY burger I will eat. Burgers are cooked to perfection, the meat and toppings are fresh, fries are hot and plentiful, and the staff is friendly. It makes me sad to drive past the fast food places and see a line on my way to The Burger Shop. Their food deserves community patronage. I encourage everyone to support this tasty locally owned restaurant.
