Very nice friendly landlords very welcoming we stayed in the village & enjoyed our time at the pub hope it continues to do well ..

It was 7pm on a Friday - 4 of us were hungry and tired and finding places either full or not doing food. Then by chance we passed the Butchers Arms. Very quiet, friendly, nice outside garden, good pub food with generous portions - and yes a good exmoor ale. We left about an hour later very happy.
