Impeccable place for having a European/American style breakfast if you’re not yet feeling like tasting the local delicacies. Delicious scrambled eggs with avo, great coffee and nice warm banana bread. Nice atmosphere, convenient ordering through a screen, they bring it at your table. Highly recommend! We spent 7 wonderful days in Seoul and started out 6 of our 7 days with breakfast at this fantastic cafe, the food was great especially the mushroom toast and their tamale, topped off with a slice of carrot cake or bread pudding. My wife and our friends liked the chestnut late. The staff was all super friendly and helpful. The owners dog was so nice. We got to meet “buttons” the owners dog a couple of times when the owners mother would bring the pooch in. Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hi Jeff, Thank you so much for this wonderful review. Reading it truly made our day. It was such a pleasure having you, your wife, and your friends with us during your time in Seoul. Knowing that you chose to start 6 of your 7 mornings at The Buttons means more to us than we can express. It was especially lovely meeting you in person before your trip home. Your thoughtful handmade soap gift was such a kind surprise, and it touched us deeply. We also loved hearing that you live just outside Portland and share a love for dogs. Danchu(Button)was very happy to make a few new friends too! Thank you for your warmth, kindness, and support throughout your visit. Guests like you are one of the reasons we love what we do. We hope you had a safe journey home and made many wonderful memories in Seoul. If you ever find yourself missing Seoul, Danchu our pom, or a slice of carrot cake, you can always find us on Instagram and our website. We'd love to stay connected until our paths cross again. And if your travels ever bring you back to Korea, please know that you'll always have friends waiting for you at The Buttons. Warmly, The Buttons Family

Stopped by The Buttons for brunch and loved it. The lemon almond ricotta cake was light and refreshing, and the matcha latte was smooth and cozy—such a good combo. The café had a warm, stylish vibe, and having a restroom inside was a nice bonus. The staff were super friendly too. Definitely a place I’d come back to. > Meal type: Other Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
