Nestled on Rue Farran Znaki in Rabat, The Cake Lady is a quaint spot for those with a pastry craving. Known for its focus on takeaway service, this modest venue offers a variety of cakes and pastries that have attracted appreciative nods from its visitors. Despite its low digital profile, with only a sparse listing on Google, it has garnered positive feedback from occasional patrons who have stumbled upon it.
Visitors often note the pleasant experience of sampling their offerings right outside the shop, with the added charm of friendly staff who are happy to provide seating when needed. However, the lack of updated information from the owner leaves potential customers guessing about the operating hours and any new developments. Although reviews haven't surfaced in the last six months, those available do reflect an overall positive experience related to both the products and service.
For dessert lovers and locals in the area, The Cake Lady might be worth the try, despite its understated online presence. Future customers will need to rely on word-of-mouth or chance visits, given the scarcity of detailed listings in more comprehensive directories.

One of the best cake I’ve ever eaten: the felling in the one that you experience when you are eating your mum’s secret recipe for the apple cake that everybody loves. Simple but delicious. You can see the passion in them. You have to go if you are exploring the medina of Rabat! Price per person: MAD 1–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The Cake Lady is just a hole in the wall cake shop. There is no sign and no number. The Cake Lady is serving 4-5 different round cakes/flans and some handmade mini pizza. Each one of them looks perfect and is made in her kitchen which is open to see. Everything is very clean and the owner was very sweet and gracious. When I was there, two women were waiting for cake - one had bought a plate with her. I wish I had that cause I tried the lemon and the apple cake and had to balance the bag on my hand until I got back to the riad. Anyway I'm guessing the place is popular. The sponge on the cakes is so soft and delicate. Commendable! I wish I had tried the chocolate and chocolate and vanilla now. The price was way too cheap. A big slice for 5 dirhams. I paid her double as a tip and was determined to write her a review. Such a great place. No drinks or seating available. It's all takeaway slices in a bag. Along the street in that area are many open house vendors that smell great and look popular. A good spot for local snacks. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
