Order nicely cooked burgers, catfish and onion strings at this restaurant when you happen to be near it. Most visitors mention that the staff is cool. If you want to experience nice service, you should go to The Cast Net. Based on the guests' opinions, prices are reasonable. Come and check if this place deserves the Facebook 4.4 stars.

This past Saturday we had my grandmother’s Birthday party I reserved the banquet room in advance. We had a large group our waitress was really nice, kept our drinks filled service and food was great!! We had a great time!!

I was in Min. For a month. Last Fri. I went to eat at the Cast Net and found they had closed. I really hate that. That was my favorite place to eat also as well as others at my church (Sharon Baptist). Their food was wonderful and I loved the staff and owners. There are so few eating establishments around here and this was by far my favorite. Jo Martin????

Overton welcomed the Cast Net with open arms and from what I understand, will not be opening back up. The restaurant is advertising a new business in Carthage. Don't you think you owe the people of Overton an explanation instead of just closing the doors?
