Went for dinner, very disappointing. We both had the ribs, generous portion, but half of them were cold. Not room temperature cold, refrigeration cold in the middle. The sauce had a bitter, burnt taste and the coleslaw was clearly from a packet, and old and yellowing. Not that surprising when you can see the chef in the kitchen deeply engrossed in his phone. Very expensive $80 meal when you receive poorly microwaved ribs and supermarket salad past it's best buy date. Unfortunately we won't return. Price per person: $20–40 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

The Castle Tavern has had a bit of a makeover and their food has improved too! Great pub classics and very generous portions and good value for the family. Price per person: $20–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Chicken or Beef Schnitzel
