The food isn’t remarkable to my preference (good material and reasonable portion, but I don’t like the taste), but I really like the decoration and the environment. And I like the buffet style of serving food. The assistants are efficient and speak good English. I waited a long time for my wok though, but it was a peak hour. For other dishes, you don’t have to wait. The price is somewhat between market average and slightly above market average. But this is Stockmann, and there’s nothing that’s dirt cheap in Stockmann… A small suggestion is to offer spoons for wok. If I use chopsticks, I don’t need knives and forks anymore, but I need spoons. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €15–20

Our dissapointment was the waitress (or cashier), an older women (with strange hair), who really didn't know how to answer in english.
We traveling a lot of countries, And I suppose waitress should known the internacional language.
The place was very good, and food was fantastic, but I suggest you to check on employees languages skill, because it's important in restaurants.

Chat Cafe-Restaurant is located on the (latvian) 4th floor of the Stockmann shopping center. This used to be a wonderful place before Corona, but unfortunately it has changed a lot since then. Now there is just half of the meals and drinks they offered before, and those which are available don't really look fresh. I also recognized that the prices for some dishes habe6increased and the portions got smaller. Anyway you can still choose some starters, salads, hot dishes and desserts.
