Taste good chocolate fondant, vanilla ice cream and fruitcake at this bar. Delicious lager, wine or ale will make your meal better and you'll surely come back. Had my 30th birthday celebration at The Chequers Orwell and it was perfect! There was an area set aside for us and because of the lovely weather we were able to use the back garden which was great. I am a vegetarian and wanted to have quite a few vegetarian options for our buffet and Tina was very helpful giving lots of suggestions with what they could make. The food was delicious and everyone was very complimentary, there were some leftovers and Tina and team kindly packed these away for us to take home! Most of all, Tina and all of the staff are so kind, helpful and friendly. We'll definitely be making more effort to come in to our local more often! Thanks Tina :)
