This place is closed - likely forever. Update - just had a pretty intemperate response from the owner. Thank you for that- if you ever open, I doubt I'd ever spend my money in your business. When they were open, they were far more expensive than other chippies in the area for fairly run-of-the-mill food. This place is best avoided. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Visited with my son on Saturday teatime. The first good we were served was cold and it was explained they had been left in an oven that was turned off. These chips were clearly old and not fresh. The food then arrived again and was the same old chips that had been refried. They tasted awful and of old oil. We late some but left most of the food. With a child meal and adult chips costing almost £15 this is dreadful. The staff were playing really loud music - the whole experience was unpleasant. The one thing I expect in chip shop is freshly made chips. I will not be returning. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20

I hate to admit this but I'm a chippy connoisseur. I tried the Chippy on Burton Road last week and was blown away. I had chips and Vegan sausages (which came with a delightful chutney). The chips were by far some of the best I've tried around Manchester. A cool shop too with a chilled vibe - will definitely be back soon. Delicious.
